As 2025 comes to a close, I reflect on a year that has been both challenging and rewarding. Personally, it has been my hardest year with the loss of my dad, Angelo Paul Tiricola (APT). Despite the ups and downs, I’m incredibly proud that we continued to deliver the high-quality work our business is known for.

This year we’ve grown across all areas of the business, from design and drafting, extensions and renovations, to shops, car parks, and our excavation and civil division. None of this would be possible without our dedicated team. A huge thank you to our full-time, part-time and casual staff, especially Tony (29 years and counting, my right-hand man), David, Vince, Greg, Matt, Daniel, and all of our trusted subcontractors and suppliers who consistently deliver, even when I need things done yesterday.

Most importantly, thank you to our clients for placing your trust in us, whether it’s a small excavation job or a large construction project. We are also grateful to our regular excavation clients who work alongside us daily and entrust us with their own clients.

A special thank you to my wife for her patience, understanding, and support throughout a demanding year, even when time at home has been limited.

Looking ahead, 2026 is already shaping up to be a very busy year in construction, and I’m grateful and ready for what’s to come.

It’s with a very heavy heart I would like notify you all of the passing of my Dad, best friend and business partner Angelo Paul Tiricola (Mr APT). Dad’s passing has been a big shock to all friends, and family. Dad’s network isn’t huge but it is very close to his heart, a lot of our staff and trades have been working with us for up to 30 years, a lot of clients are repeat clients and this is a testament to dads loyalty and dedication. We would like to thanks all clients, trades and staff for the same dedication they have inputted to build the legacy my father Angelo has left behind! APT will continue to run but please be patient with us as we grieve and slowly get back to work! Regards Nick Tiricola
