Established in Sydney Australia, OPEK’s core activity is to change the global culture in consuming chemical products. We plan to minimise the impact of chemicals on the ecosystem, keep our planet safe and create a healthy environment for our kids. OPEK’s business model prioritises minimisation of environmental impact through green design processes, green product developments, and green service delivery approaches. We pledge to employ green and environmentally friendly production processes with minimal water and energy consumption. Our business comprises of three main categories:

OPEK is partnering with Biotuff and other green companies in the hopes of being able to develop and manufacture products that are 100% biodegradable/compostable. Certifications
Worldwide standards have been introduced for both compostability and biodegradability of a product. These standards are tailored to meet the specific requirements of various regions across the world. The Australasian Bioplastics Association and Australian Standard currently certify OPEK’s plastic products: AS 4736–2006, with plans to be certified by European and American standards for international production
