Hunter TAFE Information Technology Hunter TAFE Information Technology is located at Glendale, Maitland and Newcastle campuses. We are an Amazon, Cisco and Microsoft Academy.

We deliver Certificate III, IV and Diploma courses in Information Technology. For people experienced with using a computer at a basic level eg school leavers, we have ICT30120 Certificate 3 in Information Technology. Through a mix of theory and practical coursework, learn to: Install, operate and configure operating systems; Configure a SOHO network; Use critical thinking skills; Securely manage s

ensitive and personally identifiable information; Apply introductory programming techniques. This course is timetabled on 4 full days a week. For people that already have a Certificate 3 in Information Technology then course ICT40120 – Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking) would be suitable. This new course covers: Windows server and network security​; Installing and configuring CISCO routers, switches, and wireless networks​; IT Business Skills; Intro to Cyber Security; Intro to Programming; Cloud solutions and Services. This course will be over 4 full days a week over 18 weeks.
