What a week it's shaping up to be for the MEGALS team! 🙌

Our crews are out across East Gippsland with 5 Rinnai instantaneous hot water services heading into Lakes Entrance, a Brivis ducted heater changeover, and a 16kW Daikin ducted air conditioning system going into Orbost. Keeping the region warm, comfortable and well-supplied.

But the highlight this week? We're thrilled to be unveiling a brand new product line from Daikin Australia right here in our Bairnsdale showroom. 🎉

We'll be sharing more details very soon — but if you're in the area and want to be among the first to see it, come on in and have a chat with our team. We'd love to show you what's new.

⛽ Rising Fuel Costs – A MEGALS Update

Due to the increasing uncertainty around fuel prices, MEGALS has made the difficult but necessary decision to begin transitioning our fleet of work vans to Vespas.

Early trials have shown they are:

✔ Extremely fuel efficient
✔ Surprisingly capable of carrying a ladder
✔ Slightly less effective when transporting hot water systems

We appreciate your patience as our staff adjust to the new system and work through minor logistical challenges such as tool storage, plumbing pipe transport, and maintaining dignity while riding to site.

Rest assured we remain committed to delivering the same high level of service — it may just take a little longer if there’s a headwind.

Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these challenging economic times.

🏆 February Safety Award Winner – James 🏆

Big congratulations to James for taking out our February Safety Award 👏

Rain, hail or shine — this bloke’s commitment to safety is second to none… and as you can see, he takes “prepared for the conditions” very seriously 🌧️😎

High-vis ✔
Wet weather gear ✔
Positive attitude ✔

All jokes aside, James consistently sets the standard on site when it comes to working safely and looking out for the crew. We’re proud to have him on the team.

Last year, James also went the extra mile and completed his Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety, alongside Desi and Natalie — further strengthening our commitment to keeping both our team and customers safe.

Safety isn’t just a box we tick at MEGALS — it’s something we actively invest in, and James leads by example every day on site.

Well done mate 👏

💒 The MEGALS crew scrub up alright! 💒

Massive congratulations to Bailey & Jenaya on tying the knot! 🥂

Was pretty special seeing one of our own step away from the tools and into a suit for the big day — and even better celebrating it with the crew.

Wishing you both a lifetime of laughs, adventures, and plenty of good times ahead.

From your MEGALS family — we’re stoked for you both ❤️
