What a week it's shaping up to be for the MEGALS team! 🙌

Our crews are out across East Gippsland with 5 Rinnai instantaneous hot water services heading into Lakes Entrance, a Brivis ducted heater changeover, and a 16kW Daikin ducted air conditioning system going into Orbost. Keeping the region warm, comfortable and well-supplied.

But the highlight this week? We're thrilled to be unveiling a brand new product line from Daikin Australia right here in our Bairnsdale showroom. 🎉

⛽ Rising Fuel Costs – A MEGALS Update

Due to the increasing uncertainty around fuel prices, MEGALS has made the difficult but necessary decision to begin transitioning our fleet of work vans to Vespas.

Early trials have shown they are:

✔ Extremely fuel efficient
✔ Surprisingly capable of carrying a ladder
✔ Slightly less effective when transporting hot water systems

We appreciate your patience as our staff adjust to the new system and work through minor logistical challenges such as tool storage, plumbing pipe transport, and maintaining dignity while riding to site.

Rest assured we remain committed to delivering the same high level of service — it may just take a little longer if there’s a headwind.

Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these challenging economic times.

Don’t let the baby face fool you — James has been with MEGALS for 10 years… even though he still looks like a second-year apprentice 😅

He’s one of our most experienced electricians and an absolute favourite with customers. Whether it’s fault-finding, installs, or problem-solving on the fly, James is the guy you want on your job.

When he’s not on the tools, he’s busy being a superdad to his three little girls or heading off camping with the family.
