It is currently impossible to electrify commercial and industry Gas units ,not only are appliances not built for this purpose put the main power supply would be in adequate to handle the load , we also have around 12% of Victorian power being generator by peak load gas fired generators, these generators will have to increase in capacity as move to transition period. VICTORIA relies heavily on gas ,it will always need gas , the proposed sea terminal to bring gas into Victoria via ship is one plan. The reversing of gas through pipeline to fill a giant 35 pj storage facility is another plan ,while media and certain departments mislead us ,what's happenig behind close doors is how to supply victora gas needs ,mean while we sit on some of the largest gas reserves untouched here in Victoria.

We are looking for artisans and craft lovers to join us at our first East Gippsland Makers' Festival on Easter Saturday, the 30th of March, 2024 at the Bairnsdale Racecourse. We wish to showcase the amazing talents within our region and beyond and are encouraging workshops and displays throughout the day.

We are also looking for food vans or street food vendors to provide a range of culinary delights. We have live music, entertainment for the kids and our event will be held from 9.00am to 4.30pm.
