We're pleased to introduce Ethan Turnbull, who joined the team over six weeks ago as a Diesel Mechanic.

With two years of trade experience under his belt, Ethan was looking for a faster-paced environment and a new challenge. Since coming on board, he's been enjoying the variety of work and is happy to be back working on trucks.

When asked what stands out most about Whelans, Ethan says it's the great team culture and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of equipment and projects.

We're glad to have Ethan on the team and look forward to seeing his career continue to grow.

We're pleased to welcome Craig Swan to the team as a Diesel Mechanic.

With around four years of trade experience, Craig recently made the move to our workshop. Having started with us a few weeks ago, he's already settled in well and is enjoying working alongside a great crew.

As skilled diesel mechanics become increasingly difficult to find, we're fortunate to have someone with Craig's experience join our growing team. His skills will be a valuable addition to the workshop as we continue to expand our operations.

Welcome aboard, Craig. We're glad to have you as part of the team and look forward to the contribution you'll make.

Another exciting machine has arrived at the workshop.

This brand-new Kobelco SK260LC is about to undergo the full WFE Forestry Package, including ROPS, FOPS and OPG, before heading to its new home on a farm in far western Victoria.

We're proud to deliver forestry protection packages for clients across Victoria, helping ensure machines are equipped for the tough conditions they'll face in the field.

This one has only just rolled through the doors, so there's plenty of work ahead. Stay tuned to see the finished product and the transformation from standard excavator to fully forestry-ready machine.

A small machine with a big job ahead.

This brand-new Kobelco has just arrived in our workshop for a Level 2 FOPS fit-out before getting to work on construction projects in Melbourne.

We're completing the upgrade for Melbourne Tractors Ballarat Tractors & Construction Equipment, and it's another example of the specialist work our team enjoys delivering. Our signature curved front design is proving increasingly popular, and we're seeing growing demand for these custom FOPS solutions across the industry.

Looking forward to seeing this one out on site soon.

Before the lights, wiring and finishing touches, it starts here.

These progress photos take you behind the scenes of our Dodge RAM Black Hawk canopy build, showing the work that happens long before the completed package rolls out of the workshop.

From cutting and folding aluminium sheet, to fabricating the tray frame and assembling the canopy components, every stage is completed with precision and attention to detail by the WFE team.

The finished product might be what turns heads, but it's the planning, fabrication and workmanship behind the scenes that makes it all possible.

A great reminder that every custom build starts with raw materials, skilled tradespeople and a commitment to getting the details right.
