Earlier today, LG announced that they will be shutting down their solar panel business due to uncertainities in the global solar power market. This announcement has taken us all by surprise and we understand it will be the same for some of our customers.

LG has confirmed that they will continue to support us (their dealers) and also our customers by honouring all existing warranty obligations as well as continuing their production into the second quarter of 2022 in order to be able to maintain adequate inventory for existing orders and service support.

We will continue to work with LG over the course of the next few months and will complete all installs as per our agreement. We will, however, as a matter of priority, contact all scheduled installs that maybe impacted starting tomorrow morning. LG's announcement can be accessed via the following link.

Ballarat Solar & Electrical is a locally owned small business established and based in Ballarat. We are premier LG Solar Dealers in both the residential and commercial markets. We service the greater Ballarat region and have a reputation for quality work and attention to detail. We focus on safety, compliance and above all - quality of work.

We are looking for a qualified electrician with domestic and commercial experience, knowledge of solar would be added advantage. The successful applicant can expect a place of work where your opinion is valued and you work as part of a team. We offer flexibility, a great environment and pay commensurate with experience. Ongoing training and opportunities to gain accreditation are part of the role.

Applicants must be able demonstrate sound technical ability, troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage and liaise with customers at job sites.

To be successful, you should be able to mentor and manage apprentices, as well as meet deadlines and work in a professional manner.
