We're HIRING a Marketing & Social Media Assistant!
Flexible Part-Time Role | Approx. 10 Hours Per Week | Ballarat Based
Are you organised, creative and spend far too much time scrolling social media anyway?
We're looking for a Marketing & Social Media Assistant to help support our family-owned businesses, including Waldron Solar Solutions and Waldron Heating & Cooling.
This is a flexible, part-time role (approximately 10 hours per week) that would suit a university student, parent returning to the workforce, or someone looking for a flexible role that fits around other commitments.
No marketing degree required. We're more interested in finding someone who is organised, reliable, has a good eye for content and is comfortable using social media.
What You'll Be Doing
Your primary focus will be helping manage our social media presence across our businesses, including:
- Scheduling and posting content
- Writing captions and social media posts
- Collecting photos and videos (both from our team, and by heading out on site to capture content)
- Creating simple graphics using Canva
- Monitoring comments and messages
- Assisting with content planning
- Helping organise customer reviews and testimonials
Depending on your skills and availability, you may also assist with:
- Database and marketing administration, email marketing, website updates, event promotion & general business administration support
We're looking for someone who is:
- Organised, proactive, reliable and able to work independently
- Comfortable using Facebook and Instagram
- Confident using Canva (or willing to learn)
- A strong communicator with good written skills
- Comfortable chasing busy tradies and heading out on site to get photos and information!
Experience in administration, customer service, marketing or communications would be advantageous, but not essential.
