REPLAS resently turned 30. The founders, George & Cathy Mingin , Brad Muller and Russell Muller. Registered Australian Recycling Technologies Pty Ltd on the 26 March 1991 after more than a year of R&D. Marketing the products as REPLAS to Distinguish it from Syntal. This had been driven by a stockpile of post consumer plastics collected in the Ballarat area by Western District Recycling Depot Pty Ltd. Registered on the 31 March 1979
Founded by Brad and Russell Muller
So this Month represents 30 years of producing manufacturerd products out of waste plastic and 42 years of creating employment for fantastic people In the recycling industry. Thanks to all those that have shared the journey with me.

Replas Products was born in 1991 after years of experimentation with recycled waste plastic and finally getting sales of products into Melbourne Water and VicRoads. Australian Recycling Technologies Pty Ltd of Ballarat Victoria, was registered, and went on to win the Banksia award for Recycling in 1992. The Founders of this great Company / Brand, are. George Mingin, Bradley Muller and Russell Muller.
The company merged with Repeat Plastics Pty Ltd of Lilydale Victoria, in 2001 to become Repeat Plastics Australia Pty Ltd and maintaining the product name, REPLAS, so as to represent the two Company’s coming together. Thirty odd years on from those earliest experiments, today Replas is still a World class performer in the fight for solutions to plastic recycling and the Circular Economy.
