Orana Services are pleased to be sponsoring the women’s Matraville Tigers opens team for 2023 Ella 7s on the 4th March.

Ella 7s is a flagship Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Rugby Union. The tournament is a key marketing tool to bring the game of Sevens to the wider Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population.

We wish the girls well but most importantly we hope they enjoy themselves with no injuries.

All the best!

Trade Continuation from School Based Apprenticeship

Khairell Pearce is a proud Indigenous man from Kempsey/Dungatti mob, with connections to Moree/Kamilaroi. He grew up in the Le Perouse area – Dharawal People. He started his school-based apprenticeship with Orana Services from 2020 to 2022 from Matraville Sports High School, where we have a MOU with their careers department. It is with great pleasure we confirm we are continuing Khairells’ apprenticeship from now to 2024 where he will be completing his Cert |V in Carpentry & Building.

It's inspiring to watch Khairell go back and maintain the buildings to create good learning spaces at the school he attended for future students.

We would like to thank AMU and Spotless for their opportunities which allows us to upskill and develop our young Indigenous men and women. Without your support we would be unable to fulfill our commitment to community. Thank you!

Sponsorships for Indigenous Rugby League Pathways

We are pleased to be helping Mark Beetson and Dean Feeney facilitate their Indigenous Rugby league camp as of tomorrow 14th December 2022.

This will be a great opportunity to come together and learn in a holistic environment whilst spending time in the community. They will be running workshops related to mental health, physical health, employment, support services, pathways in rugby league, drugs and alcohol.

The benefits of this will give everyone the knowledge and education to make better choices as well as develop great opportunities to support career paths and healthy lifestyle choices.

Without the support of organisations like Spotless, AMU & Sydney Catholic Colleges we would be unable to fulfill our commitment to the community so thank you, we appreciate you all.
