We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our amazing clients for all your fantastic support over the years. It has now come time for Mark, Louie and I to start a new chapter in our lives. We are heading to QLD to further our careers. Although we will miss everyone so incredibly much, we are really looking forward to our new adventures. Mark Jacobs Building and Carpentry is now closed. Thank you all so much once again.

Who does not like a nice looking deck to sit on? The down fall of timber decking is the maintenance. Costing potentially up to $2000 a year to sand, wash and stain. Well we love to use Trex composite decking, they have a large range or colours and a 25 year gaurentee, and the best thing, No maintenance. That’s a saving of $50k over 25 years. This beautiful old home in Little river had a front deck face lift. The timber framing was rotten as who ever built it did not use treated timber. But the finished look is amazing. Bring on the nicer weather so we can sand the older boards and stain to bring them back to like new condition.
