We are thrilled to announce the Ulangoo Nunee Binbee MacKellar Joint Venture, a groundbreaking collaboration between the team here at UNB Industries Pty Ltd and MacKellar Group. Together, we are dedicated to fostering sustainable mining practices and rehabilitating traditional lands.🌿🙌

As proud members of the Ghungalu and surrounding community, our primary objective is to preserve our country's natural habitat for generations to come. Through the partnership with Mackellar, we will provide mining services and targeted rehabilitation services and create meaningful career opportunities for all Australians.

Together UNB Industries and MacKellar Group are working to improving the land while creating pathways and employment for Indigenous Australians.

Today is National Mining and Related Industries Day.

It is an opportunity to celebrate the people who work in the mining industry. And say thank you to all those hard-working and vital mining workers, and all those working in related industries.

This year being our first year of operation - we want to spotlight our Managing Director and founder of UNB Industries PTY LTD, Tyrone Kemp.

With roots deeply embedded working on his Traditional Ghungalu Country, Tyrone brings a profound understanding of the significance of connecting to the land and healing Country.

Tyrone has a lifelong mission to rejuvenate and replenish mined land back to its original state. At the same time, he mentors, engages and creates bond with his team members directing them towards sustainable long-term employment and working towards generational change.

Tyrone and his personalised approach stands as a distinctive and cherished aspect within the fast-paced industry, his passion and drive towards his role creates an atmosphere where your included and valued as a team member week in week out.

A few months ago our babies went out on their country and saved over 40 small gumbi gumbi suckers from the path of roadwork developments. A pivotal moment in time - teaching them why and the reason behind saving these medicine trees.

They dug them up after the rain so the ground was soft and they bagged them all up for relocation to the green house.

These same gumbi gumbi trees will be the ones we heal country with. We will use these trees and their seeds to rehab the mined land of our successful contracts 🌱
