Making it (your life) easy is more than our brand slogan…our Acoustic+ screen-louvre range has the most effective noise mitigation technology. It is based on thermally bonded polyester fibre. Thousands and thousands of tiny filaments in each square metre of TBPF have countless air gaps between them. The combined surface area adds up to more surface density than if it was a flat surface. Sound penetrates the porous network rather than bounce off it. As it moves through this maze the sound energy starts to slow down. The friction of the fibrous surfaces converts mechanical noise energy into heat.

Support Brace? Don’t Need One! Imagine a giant steel “sail” on top of a building without any bracing behind it. This innovation was a response to clients asking if it was possible to give their HVAC service crews more access space behind our visual barriers and acoustic walls (because the HVAC system took up most of the roof space).
Our standard screens (interlocking roll-formed cassettes 300mm wide attached to a frame) were supported by triangulated light gauge steel braces which, in turn, were connected to our HVAC&R equipment platforms.
Our design and engineering teams re-designed the mounting system with the strength to comply with Normal, Intermediate and Cyclonic (A, B, C) wind loading regulations.
Some of our walls are 100 or more metres long and they can be over four metres high. The engineer-certified braceless system proved to be more than capable and the biggest example to date is on the 75,000 square metre roof of the new Woolworths distribution centre at the Moorebank Logistics Park in Sydney.
