📢 Katoomba Site Update – This Month’s Progress! 🚧
Things are moving along quickly at our Katoomba site! Here’s what’s been happening:
✅ Garage door are fully installed – big thanks to Auto Gate Centre Aust Pty Ltd
✅ Wall finishes are in progress.
✅ Ceilings are nearly fully installed.
✅ Bathroom joinery is underway.
✅ Electrical work is well underway – thanks to Central West Electrical Contractors for their hard work!
✅ Heating and cooling installation is in progress thanks to Drummoyne Group Regional Services Pty Ltd
✅ Walkways and paths are looking fantastic – a shoutout to Earthwood Greenscapes!
✅ Concrete driveways are nearly complete. Thanks to MetroMix, Mountain Concrete Services, & Lokos Concrete Pumping

Back in May 2017, Inland transformed a historic and high-traffic site in Lithgow, NSW, into a modern, multi-use development! 🚧🔨
This project included:
✅ Restoring the Heritage School building into a Zambrero Mexican Restaurant with outdoor dining 🌮🏫
✅ Constructing a brand-new 7-Eleven Service Station ⛽
✅ Redesigning the car park to seamlessly connect with McDonald's, adding 65 new parking spaces 🚗
What was once The Reddings Mechanic Workshop and a disused service station is now a thriving hub for locals and travellers alike. Another milestone in our journey of building better!

🚧 Katoomba Project Update 🚧
Things are progressing smoothly at the Katoomba Project! We're thrilled to see everything coming together and making great strides. Did you know? This site was once a car sales yard before transforming into a key gateway into Bathurst! In 2016, Inland Building & Construction completed the 7-Eleven Kelso, marking our first-ever service station project.
With a tight 15-week construction timeline, this project set the stage for many more! Notably, it was the first regional 7-Eleven store, and since then, we've continued expanding our footprint across NSW, building quality service centres for communities far and wide.
🏗️💡 Looking back, we’re proud of how far we’ve come! Stay tuned for more milestones as we continue shaping regional infrastructure.

In 2019, IBC had the privilege of carrying out renovation works at Dixon Square, a property we originally constructed back in 2006. 🛠️🏢 Now, the site is home to long-term tenants like a gym 🏋️♂️, a restaurant 🍽️, a fast-food outlet 🍔, and employment services 💼, contributing to the community’s growth and vibrancy! 🌱

When working with wooden beams or large panels, always ensure that your workpiece is properly supported before cutting. 🪚
Using saw horses or a workbench will give you the stability you need to avoid uneven cuts or damage to the material. 💪 Also, make sure the material is squared up and aligned before you make any cuts to ensure a clean, professional result. ✅
A solid setup leads to a smoother, safer job. 🏗️

Throwback Thursday!
A look back at two of our incredible restoration projects: the Rutherford Building & Osborn Building in Bathurst, NSW. 🏛️✨
In 2015, Inland Building & Construction began restoring the Osborn Building, transforming it into a vibrant hub for local businesses. The building now houses a range of businesses, including a high-end jewellery store 💎, a homewares store 🏠, a health foods shop/café 🥗☕, Zambreno’s 🌮, and two luxury residential apartments 🏙️.
Fast forward to 2017, and we commenced work on the Rutherford Building. The restoration saw the space evolve into a home for several local businesses such as an accounting firm 💼, a café ☕, a beautician 💅, a barber 💈, and NSW Communities & Justice Services 🏢. The project was completed in June 2019, and we’re proud to see both buildings thriving in the heart of Bathurst. ❤️

DJP Corp Trading as Inland Building & Construction is run By Directors David and Stuart Pennells and has been trading for 30 years. Inland Building & Construction mainly focuses on the construction of Commercial building projects ranging from $200,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 within the central tablelands. Directors David and Stuart have been builders for over 30 and 10 years respectively and both bring a unique perspective to the table. David as well as being highly experienced within the commercial sector is a licenced real estate agent who helps to bring a unique perspective to the marketplace of what clients really look for and need in their commercial buildings, whilst Stuart, having completed his degree in Construction Management Brings modern and innovative perspective using new and innovative construction alternatives. Combined Inland Building and Constructing have achieved a balance of experience and knowledge that is second to none.
Our staff manage the majority of all building works with the exception of plumbing and electricity, for these areas we have permanent contractors we use for all our projects, and because we do nearly all the work ourselves, we are assured of the quality of work completed as well as the time and money saved as we are not reliant on sub-contractors fitting us into their schedules.
We specialise in Concrete Tilt Panel Construction and have invested in the specialty equipment required. Although we also work in other areas including:
