Expanding our civils footprint with the next project award for Greatland Resources Limited on the construction of a Tailings Storage Facility Lift at the Telfer Mine.
Mobilisation is underway with the teams on site since the beginning of the month.
Luke Staines, General Manager- Civil said “We are pleased to be back at Telfer, this time with our civils team for the TSF 8 Stage 4 Lift project. Securing this project is another important step in the continued growth of our business. Our team is prepared, experienced, and ready to deliver.”

IMC is proud to announce it has been selected by Covalent Lithium to perform Mining Services at their Mt Holland Operation.

Commencing in February 2026 IMC will deliver drill, blast, load and haul and ROM Management Services over an initial 39 month term.

Commenting on the award IMC Directors Clinton Keenan and Derek Williamson said

“Obviously we are thrilled that Covalent have placed their trust in us after a rigorous selection process.

“We sought to emphasise our commodity experience and the body of knowledge developed on our existing Lithium job regarding safety, engineering, productivity and ore hygiene in particular.

"This coupled with our collaborative and proactive Contracting approach looks to have held us in good stead. We are diligently working through the planning phase now and look forward to transitioning toward delivery in the coming weeks."

New Contract. Repeat client. IMC has secured award of Fimiston II, Cell G Tailing Dams, with Northern Star Resources Ltd. The 8-month Civil Contract includes in excess of 1 million BCM of bulk earthworks and circa 5,000m of pipe work. The project is required to support increased production currently underway at the Kalgoorlie Super Pit.

Adam Harper, EGM Operations said:
"It’s a great outcome for the team to be awarded the project at the Super Pit with Northern Star. This win reflects the strong alignment of both our companies, having worked together for a number of years - this award further builds on that relationship. IMC is excited to be part of the Super Pit growth story and looks forward to successfully delivering this project"

Announcing the award of a 17 month Civil contract at Gruyere Mine Site.

The project is owned by Gruyere Management Pty Ltd (Joint venture between Gold Fields Ltd and Gold Road Resources) and will require our Civil Division to deliver circa 2.5m3 of bulk earthworks through the construction of the Gruyere TSF Stage 6.

It represents a significant extension to our teams existing 11 months tenure on site where we are in the process of handing over TSF Stage 5 successfully.

IMC General Manager - Civil Luke Staines notes, ‘This award reflects the exceptional performance of our Gruyere project team and the relationships built with the Gruyere management teams across all levels of the business. The trust we have established since the start of the tender process for Gruyere Stage 5 has been instrumental in reaching this milestone and we look forward to again delivering a safe, high-quality product for our valued Client’

IMC’s expanding asset strategy unfolded further this week with a fleet of 150 ton class trucks commissioned on an existing Mining Services job wanting to quickly grow its production profile.

Our Asset and Maintenance teams highlighted their integrated capability by procuring, transporting, repairing and commissioning this fleet onsite within 3 months.

With a trebling of our Workshop capacity underway via construction of our 2ha Muchea HME Facility, IMC is preparing to significantly bolster its HME rebuild capacity as we look to invest in further asset class growth.

IMC and PKKP traditional owners of the Eliwana mining area are proudly expanding our Joint Venture by partnering with Fortescue to build mine infrastructure associated with their Real Zero emissions journey.

Together the IMC PKKPE JV is delivering decarbonisation projects on PKKP country for Fortescue, including the bulk earthworks and civils package for the 33kva Power line and recharge infrastructure.

Together we are committing to a cleaner energy future.
