Having worked with Aussie Disposals for many years to provide their store level fitouts, it was great to partner with them on their distribution warehouse relocation.

We provided Aussie Disposals with a 7500mm high selective racking solution which gives space for 1000 pallets and 600 lineal metres of shelf space.

In addition, we have provided designs for a second stage of racking for use by a sub tenant or for Aussie Disposals to move into as the business expands.

Leading tyre distributor Tyremax relocated to a new 10,000m2 site in Lytton, QLD, to meet the demands of their fast-growing business. With our successful implementations in Perth and Darwin, Tyremax again chose to partner with Bowen Storage to deliver storage solutions.

With the large bulky nature of the product profile, customised sized racking was required. A mix of selective and drive-in racking was designed to enable bulk storage and individual piece-picking operations.

The solution provides Tyremax with over 9000 pallet storage spaces and space for continued business growth.

We enjoyed partnering with Scorptec again, for their newly purchased facility in Silverwater, NSW. They partnered with Bowen Storage to provide yet another complete storage and fulfilment solution. The solution included a 200m2 racking-based mezzanine for small parts storage with a goods lift and conveyor system linking it to despatch and click+collect. We also reconfigured existing racking systems in the building to suit the Scorptec product profile.

Other solutions that comprised the overall project included despatch benches, safety and security systems, warranty repair workshops, and packaging equipment. By providing a turnkey solution and project managing the end-to-end process, Bowen Storage enabled a smooth transition for Scorptec to this new state-of-the-art site.

When Cabrini Technology Group decided to amalgamate two businesses into a new warehouse, they once again called on Bowen Storage to deliver the project.

With a very tight project timeline required due to the need to vacate two existing premises, Bowen Storage installed new pallet racking to part of the new site to enable Cabrini to commence their relocation. Bowen Storage then fitted out the new location by relocating the remaining racking from the two existing premises. As it was installed, we completed adjustments to the pallet racking to ensure compliance with the Australian Standards and insurance requirements, enabling the building surveyor to sign off on the new site layout.

This highly organised project management ensured a smooth transition for Cabrini with minimal operation downtime. Once relocated, we did a full flooring make-good to the existing warehouses.

The result enables Cabrini Technology Group to operate two business units efficiently in a single warehouse with over 6000 pallet racking spaces.

With Natures Organics experiencing growth, they needed to optimise their packaging storage area.

Having worked with Bowen Storage extensively in the past, we were well-positioned to understand their requirements to support their business. Where pallets could be stacked three high previously, the design provided storage 5 high in the drive-in racking, thereby increasing capacity and reducing any safety risks.

The design further included a drive-in racking solution with a mix of 5 and 6-pallet deep blocks and a capacity of 855 pallets, which significantly increased the efficiency of the space, solving their storage requirements for now and into the future.

Westar Trucks' newly expanded Campbellfield service centre required a custom mezzanine floor and racking solution.

We worked closely with the client and engineers to provide a design incorporating varying shelf depths and heights to suit Westar's broad range of truck parts and accessories while ensuring that the solution met all Australian building, fire and seismic regulations.

The result allows for storing more than 5000 small parts trays, 130 pallet spaces for bulky items, and workbenches for order sorting and packing.

GWS moved from their existing parts facility in Oakleigh to a brand-new, purpose-built site in Springvale. We worked closely with the client to develop a fit-for-purpose storage solution based on our vast experience in automotive DC design. It currently suits their needs and is optimised to allow for future growth.

The design ensures smooth operational flow and incorporates several solutions for storing a wide variety of automotive spare parts.

The solution results in a safe and efficient environment with over 3300 linear metres of shelf space, mobile pick and pack benches, high-rise shelving with options for future expansion, handrailing line marking, and barriers for pedestrian safety.

Our inspectors are trained and use the latest equipment to ensure they can complete the inspection quickly and accurately in your busy warehouse environment.
