Our Story

Vicbeam™, located in Bayswater (Victoria) has become the preferred supplier for many Victorian and Australia wide Timber Merchants and Wholesalers. We also work closely with architects and engineers as we manufacture high quality visual grade glulam beams from a variety of species including Vic Ash and Radiata Pine. Glulam beams are available pre-cambered or straight and in lengths up to 15.9m. Vicbeams’ products are custom made and fabricated from dry lumber resulting in higher dimensional stability. This reduces movement, checking, twisting and stresses within the building. The result is a reliable installation.

We also manufacture posts, curved beams, H3 LOSP treated beams for external applications and bolted trusses. Our laminated timber beams are available in a range of lengths and widths.

Where it all started

In 2003 we realised that suppliers were failing their customers, not taking on the harder projects in laminated timber beams – there was a niche ready to be filled.
