Unfortunately up to now there are no Australian Standards for the manufacture or installation (thereby including the engineering design) of Microfine cementitious grouts.
This has lead to the distribution & promotion of mis-information & bad design being distributed & bad installation processes being experienced in recent times.
Western Australia in particular some installing contractors are using cheap unproven & untested so called Microfine cements on projects without the full understanding of the materials properties, performance and warranties etc.
Unfortunately there has already been a number of grouted soil stabilisation project failures causing significant property damage & near loss of life.
At Instant Microfine Cement Supplies we only import and distribute the highest quality microfines from Japan, Germany & the UK. We have had all the materials tested & verified by CSRIO.
In conjunction with our associated structural & civil consultancy engineering firm Foundation Engineering we partnered with Curtin University & conducted comprehensive permeation & shear strength testing to confirm performance theories. We believe we are the only company to do so in WA's unique sandy soil conditions.
