Hello everyone. Here is a update on what LM Construction has achieved since the last post with. Everyone has worked hard and well.

1. Completing the roof trusses on 2 single story’s in Clyde
2. Completing another single story frame in Clyde also
3. Completing lower walls on a double in Clyde north
4. Completing lower walls on a double in Cranbourne
5. Completing a internal lock up in drouin with the final touch before plaster the glass cavity slider.

LM Construction was established in 2013 is fully insured and based in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

About the company and owner Lee Marcakis, Lee completed his Certificate 3 in carpentry in 2012 he started LM Constructions in 2013 and completed his Diploma of building and construction from which Lee has grown LM into a successful and continually expanding business.

LM Construction is skilled in all aspects Carpentry and Building including:
1. New Homes
2. Renovation – extensions
3. Decks/pergolas
4. Bathroom/kitchens/laundries
5. Timber floors
6. General house maintenance

LM Construction strive on quality of workmanship, communication, and loyalty to our clients.

LM Construction has built a team up which includes:
1. Administration team which are very welcoming, polite, respectful, and always happy to help.
2. On the tools team which are very well trained and skilled carpenters. They are also very respectful polite and helpful to all.
Over the years LM Construction has ensured that all staff are trained and skilled once completing their apprenticeship. This has been noticed with some of the staff achieving awards through Builders. Academy Australia and Master Builders. What a fantastic achievement that staff have received these awards.

LM Construction was very thankful and honored to be awarded Small Employer of the Year 2022 by Builders Academy Australia.

We are seeking someone looking to start their apprenticeship or a 1st, 2nd or 3rd -year
apprentice looking to resume their apprenticeship and join our great team. We are located in
Eastern / South-Eastern and work in various locations around Melbourne.
We do new houses, renovation work. We mainly focus on domestic work basically doing all
aspects of carpentry. We are looking for someone who has their licence, own car (This is
preferred but not essential)
If you have no licence or car you will need to live in close proximity to Lewis road Boronia
vic 3155 and be able to get your own way there by 0600 Am
basic hand & power tools.
The successful candidate will:
Be prepared to work extremely hard, have great communications skills & can listen
carefully to instructions
Be able to handle working in a fast pace working environment
Have a good attitude (important), can work in a team environment (very important)
and also have great work ethics
Punctuality and reliability an absolute requirement.
Have a valid white card
This is a great career opportunity for a person who is really interested in carpentry
Early school leavers or Juniors are encouraged to apply.

On Friday 27 May 2022 we awarded The Small Employer of the Year Award to LM Constructions at the 2021 Builders Academy Australia (BAA) Training Awards. 👷‍♀️ 👷‍♂️ 🏆

The Small Employer of the Year Award recognises a small organisation which has achieved excellence in the provision of 'nationally recognised training' to its employees.

LM Construction is a locally owned and fully insured construction company that specialises in new homes, multi-unit sites, renovations, and extensions. The owner, Lee Marcakis is taking on apprentices which are currently with Builders Academy Australia.

When asked what the award means to him, Lee said “It's good to see people have noticed how much work I actually do put into the apprentices like at work and outside of work. I do help them with their schooling outside of hours and I do push my workers to do future courses such as diplomas and all that type of stuff. So I'm actually really honored to have that award on me as it's good to see people recognize the hard work I've put in.”
