Hello Tipsters in the Wilbur's Carpentry Pty Ltd - NRL Footy Tipping Comp..

First of all… Thank you so much for joining in with us for NRL Footy Tipping 2020. I am sorry I have taken so long to announce the results….. I have been chasing payments for the past couple of weeks.

It’s been a funny year for all things social, and NRL was no exception…

We had a total of 76 entrants this year…. Of which 4 people did not pay up. They won’t be tipping next year.

Of the 72 left – only 30 people never forgot to enter their tips each and every game for each and every round! Those odds are not very good!! I think Thursday night seems to catch everyone out.

With all that in mind…. The wooden spoon award is given to the person who never forgets to put their tips in, is financial, and STILL MANAGES TO TIP THE LOWEST.
This person wins their $50.00 entry fee back, along with a classy gold painted wooden spoon with super fancy gold curling ribbon AND they have their name engraved on our office Perpetual Wooden Spoon Plaque for all to see, for all of eternity.

The wooden spoon award for 2020 goes to: MICK HARKIN.

The other prize we have, is a sweetener we invented to try to keep everyone tipping – even if they were losing, there is still a chance you could win a prize.

Our $100 bonus prize can go to any tipper who has never forgotten to put their tips in, is financial, and is randomly picked out of a hat by our boss – Wilbur.

This year the $100.00 bonus prize goes to BRADTOMO.

That leaves the rest of the money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes.
This year we had a 3 way tie for 1st all on 125 points – this means all the prize money is combined, and divided by 3 – giving each winner a total of $1133.30 each!

AAAAnd we're back!!!

On the 28th of May the NRL is back! iTipFooty has now updated the 2020 draw to reflect the NRL changes and Round 3 has now been reopened for tipping to resume.

It will be a reduced tipping season with 20 regular season rounds and 4 Finals rounds. Due to the changes in the NRL draw iTipFooty has had to delete any tips entered past Round 2.

Because most of you have already paid in full, a decision has been made to keep the entry fee at $50.00 ...... however we will change the prizes to give you more chances to win. Stay tuned. More info about that to follow.

In the mean time, if you haven't paid - here are the details again:

Thank you everybody for being a part of our Wilbur's Carpentry Pty Ltd NRL Footy Tipping Comp for 2019........
Because we don't include finals - I can finally reveal the results.

1st place - Sue F........ Sue held her lead for nearly half the comp. She was lucky enough to pick the round and no one ever seemed to be able to catch her. Well done Sue F..... Go the girls!!!! Sue takes home a total of $2590.00

2nd place - Lucas Egan..... Could never quite catch Sue - Lucas takes home a total of $1110.00

Our extra fun prize of $100 goes to The Harrisons - this prize is randomly picked using a random number picking phone app. It is for everyone who never ever missed submitting their tips for every game in every round all season. It is supposed to encourage you all to keep going even if you are not winning......... I guess some of you didn't get the memo?

And last but just as fun is our Wooden Spoon award. This award only goes to someone who never ever missed submitting their tips for every game in every round all season - AND STILL CAME LAST!! I had to count from the bottom up and was almost to half way before I found someone who never missed submitting any tips!

Wooden Spoon award goes to Hull Family! You are now the proud owner of a fancy gold painted wooden spoon with gold curling ribbon - oh, and you also get your $50.00 entry fee back. But that's not all! You also get your name engraved on our Perpetual Wooden Spoon Plaque which hangs proudly in our offices.
