A beautiful crown piece pulled from a pocket, a genuine amethyst berry!! And a huge shout out to a good mate for enabling this to happen!

Spider fishing! The reason you don't stick body parts into holes into the Australian bush.. them holes have fangs. Don't do this at home!

Also I have no idea what spider type this is, and he was given a fly for his 45 seconds of being bothered

I'd say I'm supervising, but I really just sat in an ant nest and am feeling sorry for myself 😅

One of the incredible finds of the day. This tourmaline, smokey quartz and feldspar cross was absolutely amazing. Absolutely beautiful.

And here is the answers!! what crystals are in this rock/matrix. There is possible Albite feldspar too, but I was unable to confirm it, so it didn't make the cut.

This is a near perfect example of pegmatite, and is exactly what I'm looking for, for big crystal deposits.

Also to note, the size of the mica is directly related to the size of the quartz crystals. Small mica, small crystals, big mics big crystals!

Finally found the deposit. Let's do this pan together and look at the shiny golds.
