1 down, 26 to go. The solar rollout is officially underway in the Mowanjum Aboriginal Community.
This first install delivers 13.3kW of high-efficiency JA Solar panels paired with a 10kW Fronius Primo GEN24 inverter — built to handle the harsh Kimberley conditions while helping reduce long-term energy costs and improve energy resilience for the community.

It’s the first of 27 systems planned as part of the rollout with MPS and horizon power with each installation contributing to greater local energy independence, lower diesel reliance, and more sustainable infrastructure across the community.

A solid step forward — and only the beginning.
