In support of Carter’s Legacy Ride from Bendigo to Boulia, Kingy’s Welding & Fabrications has generously donated this custom-made fire pit. All proceeds raised from the auction of this item will be donated to Boort Hospital in recognition of the ongoing support they have provided to Carter’s family throughout their unimaginable journey. Even now, they continue to check in every few weeks.

Lori and Ben are two of the strongest people we know. They tragically lost their beautiful boy, Carter, on January 2nd 2025. While nothing will ever make that loss easier, Carter’s memory lives on through the incredible love, strength and determination of his family. Their little angel will continue to watch over them from above.

You can follow their journey to the Boulia Camel Races on Facebook through Carter’s Legacy Ride, where they’ll be taking on the adventure aboard their postie bikes. The ride departs from The Allies Hotel on 6th July.

We couldn’t be prouder to support such an amazing family and an incredible cause.

Massive effort from Nath and the team, bringing it home in 7th place in the final after a huge week of racing at Wangaratta Speedway. Not the easiest run with a few challenges along the way, but the determination and hard work paid off to finish strong in a tough field.

Huge effort to Nath and the shortis team, competed hard all weekend, unfortunate to get the DNF in the final but should be incredibly proud of your efforts

Final results

Nath started the race, in lap two smoke appeared out of the car. Unfortunately causing nathan to pull infield, unaware of the problem until he returned to the pits.
Thankfully it is no damage at all and just lost the oil cap off the car.
Thats a wrap of this weekend time to pack it up and get ready for the bob memorial
