ANZOS has always been a welcome home for MHS, with a fantastic mix of basic scientists and expert clinicians. Our new Metabolic Health Platform METS_IQ, attracted a lot of interest particularly in regards to personalisation of lifestyle management.
There were also a number of enquiries for ECAL in relation to monitoring for metabolic adaptation with the new obesity medicines.

"A new publication in  the Journal of Metabolic Health.   challenges the AAP's stance on low-carb diets for children, prompting professional organizations to reassess dietary recommendations for kids with metabolic conditions. With rising rates of pediatric T1D, T2DM, and obesity, urgent action is needed for effective clinical strategies and interventions." 

Tro KalayjianMD;  Matt Calkins MD;  Laura Buchanan, MD, MHP, ABOM ; David Dikeman, Mark Cucuzzella MD; and Eric Westman MD MHS have raised significant concerns in response to the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP) recent consensus statement on low carbohydrate diets, also known as Therapeutic Carbohydrate Reduction (TCR), for children with, or with an increased risk for, metabolic disease.
