What an exciting part of history to be part of.

The project took a lot of strategic thinking. The Murray sets the terms you work with the water, the bank and the mud, or you don't move at all.

Our crew were in the river from the start, setting the bags, running the lines and laying the bed by hand until she sat exactly where she needed to.

🚨 Journey Management — Floodways & Crossings in Remote SA 🚨

After the heavy rain across South Australia this weekend, our crew is out there navigating some serious conditions. These photos were taken right here in regional SA— and they're a reminder of why a solid Journey Management Plan isn't optional when you're working in remote areas.

If you're heading out on regional or remote roads right now, here's what you need to know:

✅ Check before you go — visit the SA Government's Traffic SA road conditions site before every trip:
👉 https://www.traffic.sa.gov.au
Live road closures, floodway alerts and conditions across SA are updated regularly here.

✅ If it's flooded, forget it — even 150mm of fast-moving water can move a vehicle. If you can't see the road surface, don't cross.

✅ Know your route — your Journey Management Plan should include known floodways, alternative routes, and check-in times. If you don't have one documented, you shouldn't be on that road.

✅ Check in regularly — let someone know your route, expected arrival time, and what to do if they don't hear from you.

✅ Slow down at crossings — even after water recedes, road surfaces are unstable and can be severely undermined.

Our teams operate under Journey Management Plans on every remote and regional job. It's not paperwork — it's what brings everyone home.
