We are flippin' out here at ASM Metal Building Products! 🔧
Commissioning our new Vario Bend flashing line from Germany — one of the first in Queensland — and watching this piece of engineering fold flashing over itself is seriously awesome to see in action.
Another week or so and we'll be fully up and running with this fully automated flashing line. Stay tuned! 👀

Part 3 of 3: Installation complete.
The final section of our VarioBend line; the safety cage has arrived at our Berrinba facility, completing the installation. Our team has now commenced commissioning, with production to follow shortly.
This new line significantly enhances our manufacturing capabilities. Fully automated and operated by a single person via iPad, it streamlines our entire folding process, delivering greater precision, accommodating longer and more complex profiles, and achieving faster, more consistent production across every project.
We look forward to sharing the VarioBend in full operation in our next update.

With the conveyor belt now in place at our Berrinba workshop and the offload table delivered, we’re building capacity for higher output, greater efficiency, and faster, more cost-effective turnaround for our customers. Project Spotlight | North Queensland Multi-Residential Development

ASM Metal Building Products recently delivered a $300,000+ architectural screening and window hood package for a major multi-residential project in North Queensland.

Working closely with the builder and architects, ASM supplied custom powder-coated aluminium slat screens designed to enhance the building's appearance while providing privacy, ventilation, and long-term durability.

Engineered to meet stringent Australian Standards and site-specific wind loading requirements, the system was designed to withstand North Queensland's harsh coastal environment, including high winds, UV exposure, and humidity.

Through detailed design coordination, quality-controlled fabrication, and on-time delivery, ASM successfully met the project's programme requirements while achieving the architect's vision.

A great example of how architectural design, engineering performance, and quality manufacturing come together to create an outstanding project outcome.
