It has been way too long since I posted on here (again...) Soooo, I thought I'd share some Sunday afternoon viewing for you.
These are a couple of small adits (gold mine tunnels) local to Ballarat, Victoria Australia. The last one of these is a very interesting mine, two small stopes back to back with only a meter or two between them is fairly unusual to see.
All these reefs dip towards the east too, not the usual west dipping reefs. This is all part of a huge lode system that produced a lot of gold historically.
