We are currently seeking a fully qualified Carpenter with extensive experience in all aspects of broad based construction methods of carpentry such as framing houses, roofing, renovations, extensions, decks & pergola's to assist our company in the Maitland, Newcastle & surrounding areas of the Hunter Valley.

Position will be full time, paid at above Award rates for the right candidate. We are looking for a candidate who:
• Has extensive experience in a variety & complexity of projects
• Has a strong work ethic
• Can demonstrate intent to maintain our quality standards
• Can demonstrate commitment and drive
• Can closely follow instruction & show initiative
• Can pay strong attention to detail
• Has experience in all aspects of construction
• Must be entitled to work in Australia
• Must have a current manual driver’s licence (MR desirable)
• Must have own transport
• Must have current White Card
• Must have own tools in good condition
• Must have own steel cap boots
• Must be committed to safe work practices

Duties will include and are not exclusive of:

• conventional framework & roof structures, rafter cut out etc.
• Installation of Prefab frames & trusses
• Any ad hoc duties required by site manager
• Framing Stud Walls
• Gyprock Setting
• Roof Work
• Form up, Lay & Tie Steel, &Concreting
• Plastering
• Hanging of Doors & Mould Out
• New builds, renovations & repair projects
• Safe use of hand and power tools as required
• Problem solving & working well in a team
• The ability to turn their hand to other trades if required

We are currently seeking a 3rd or 4th year apprentice carpenter with experience in aspects of old style broad based construction methods of carpentry such as framing houses, roofing, renovations, extensions, decks & pergola's to assist our company in the Maitland, Newcastle & surrounding areas of the Hunter Valley. Applicants will be considered depending on their ability to meet criteria and demonstrate competency in the following areas, so please outline your experience well in your application.

Fourth year apprentice carpenters may be considered depending on their ability to meet criteria and demonstrate competency in the following areas, however qualified candidates are preferred.

Position will be full time, paid at Award or above Award rates depending on level of experience. We are looking for a candidate who:
