Not every great-looking balustrade complies. ⚠️

This one looks stunning, but it failed. Under the NCC, a balustrade must be at least 1m high from finished floor level, and no opening can let a 125mm sphere pass through.

In this case, the gaps between the arched panels and the handrail are over 125mm.
