A Big Congratulations to AJ!

We’re so proud to celebrate AJ, who has just completed his four-year apprenticeship in Automotive Spray Painting!

From day one, AJ has brought real curiosity and care to his work. Watching him grow over the past four years — in skill, confidence, and presence — has been a privilege for all of us.

Spray painting trucks isn’t easy, but AJ has taken on every challenge with determination and a steady hand. It’s been a pleasure having him as part of the team, and we’re looking forward to seeing him step into this next chapter — hopefully right here with us for many years to come.

Well done, AJ — you’ve earned every bit of this moment!

NQ Commercial Finishes is a locally owned and operated company that are looking to expand our team in Townsville. Due to the high demand of work within the industry we are seeking additional Spray Painters. Formal qualifications are not required however, are highly desirable. We offer a diverse range of services to the Heavy Vehicle Industry, as well as automotive. If you are someone with enthusiasm, team mindset and have experience in a similar role, we are looking for you!

Qualifications & experience

•Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology ( not essential) •Prior automotive knowledge/ experience • Display an exceptional quality of workmanship, reliability and efficiency • Excellent time management skills • Eagerness to learn and a personal drive to get things done

Tasks & responsibilities

• Colour matching • Preparing surfaces to a high standard • Paint application

Due to high demand of work we are looking for a talented Spray Painter to be an integral part of our team.
