Making life more comfortable at The Flat.

Given the historic Long Flat Store a make over, which includes this superb insulated panel roof around the shop, featuring locally cut blue gum.

Thanks to all those involved, with a special shout out to the Mumfords, Barnsy and all the friends we have made up river.

Looks like it's always been there. We've done our thing again.

One of the challenges we faced rebuilding Kylies Hut after the fire was recreating the look of the original 1940s concrete.

This we achieved by using the local ingredients.

The rocks we dug up onsite.

The Coralville Gravel that sparkles with Diamond Head quartz. It's getting hard to find, so every day we had to sweep it up off the old tracks around the National Park.

Mixed with the light brown Bonny Hills Gravel and Sand from Dunbogan.

Followed by stripping the formwork quickly, rubbing it back to give it the weathered look and let the Diamonds shine.

Peeling back the history off this beautiful old hardwood door.
It may have heard talk of impending war with Australia.
Last century, We took it out of a home that housed the Japanese Consulate at 96Victoria Rd Bellevue prior to WW2.
It now peacefully overlooks the ocean at Bonny Hills.
