123 days until Christmas. No pressure. 🎄

This Riverstone build isn’t ready for the turkey just yet but that’s the thing about a custom home. The frame stage looks like chaos and then it comes together faster than you’d think.

Every brick laid, every frame stood, every trade sequenced all moving toward the day the keys go in the door (and yes, eventually, the day you can host Christmas).

A collaboration with AC STONE

This is what warm minimalism looks like when it’s done properly: natural oak joinery, full-height stone and brushed tapware. A calm, considered palette that’ll still feel right in 20 years.

Used across the kitchen to bring subtle movement and warmth while keeping the overall palette light and refined.

A warm timber tone was selected to soften the kitchen and create a more timeless feel.

Buying land for your dream home? 🚨

Don’t sign the contract before checking these 3 things.

Finding the right block for a custom home in Sydney is about far more than the street, the size and the price. The block itself decides what you can build and what it’ll cost you to build it.
Before you buy, check:

1. Site constraints
Easements, slope, drainage, bushfire and flood considerations all affect what you can build and how much it costs to get out of the ground.

2. Orientation & neighbours ☀️
Where does the sun move across the block? What will you look at from your living areas? Could existing or future neighbours affect your privacy and light?

3. What you can actually build
Don’t assume the block will fit the home you’ve imagined. Planning controls, setbacks, site conditions and the block’s dimensions all shape your floorplan and your build.
The biggest mistake we see? People fall in love with the block before they understand the block.
