As we grow the next chapter for Transplant Systems, we'll be on the road to introduce Da Ros, our exclusive partner for nursery automation solutions. We're committed to meeting face to face with as many growers as possible to better understand what the future of automation could look like in your operation.

Growers can expect an engaging catch up with Da Ros Senior Sales Manager Fabio Camisa 🇮🇹 and our Nursery Automation expert Joel Wearmouth. The pair will be sharing the latest insights on mechanisation to support stronger productivity, efficiency and yields.

Our roadshow itinerary is almost full, but if you would like to connect while we are in your region please reach out and we will do our best to make it work.

Who are Da Ros?

Da Ros are pioneers in nursery automation. Since 1986 they have designed and manufactured machinery from their headquarters in Northern Italy for growers around the world.

🇦🇺 OUT & ABOUT 🌿 The next leg of our field trip with Australian Forest Nursery Association (AFNA) included visits to several more impressive nurseries around Mount Gambier and Hamilton. Great to see the TS-45 as the seedling tray of choice!

We’re grateful to these nurseries for opening their doors and sharing insights, and we appreciated the opportunity to introduce ourselves as the next chapter of Transplant Systems.

A visit to this region is not complete without a quick stop in Mount Gambier. The Umpherston Sinkhole (sunken garden) and the Blue Lake are well worth seeing if you’re in the area.

We were also able to attend the Australian Forest Nursery Association - AFNA. It was a pleasure to put some sponsorship towards the event 🍻 and connect with such a passionate, forward-thinking group – see you all again soon!

📆 WE’RE ON THE ROAD 💫 This week we're attending a field trip with the Australian Forest Nursery Association - AFNA. It’s been inspiring to see the scale and innovation across the nurseries visited so far… and this is only the first couple of days!

Pictured here: HVP Plantations, world-class forest nursery at Gelliondale in South Gippsland. This fully integrated facility has an annual production capacity of around 14.5 million plants. Great to see Transplant Systems trays in action at that scale.

We also visited ArborGen Australasia, Colac Nursery in Colac East who are leading producers of tree seedling products.

A sincere thank you to these outstanding nurseries for opening their doors and sharing best practice. As we continue to partner with growers, we’re focused on delivering quality trays, benching, and nursery automation, backed with practical support and competitive pricing.

🌍 WE’VE BEEN AT IPM Essen, GERMANY! 🌍 What a fantastic horticulture trade fair. The event felt a little quieter than previous years but the message from growers and suppliers was clear: “things are steady and innovation is thriving.”

🤝 IPM Essen was a chance to firm-up exclusivity partnerships with leading suppliers including Logitec Plus BV (Coir Processing Machines) and Willburg Projecten B.V. (Pot Labelling Machines).

🇦🇺 Also, our partnership with Da Ros is even stronger, with our exclusivity now extending out to Transplant Systems customers as we continue to grow across Australia.

💫 We're honoured to represent these strong horticultural suppliers and bring even more tailored solutions to our customers – exciting times!

Here’s a few takeaways from the fair:

🤖 Automation is accelerating: Robotics and machinery designed to reduce labour costs and improve efficiency was impressive.
♻️ Recyclable pots are gaining momentum: More manufacturers are embracing recyclable processes and materials, following trends like Modiform’s grey pots.
🌱 Growing media supply is challenging: Poor peat harvests + a wet coco season (monsoons) = a “double whammy” for supply, demand, and pricing - talk to us for practical solutions.
