Progress Update: MIRA

Last week, Level 26 was being formed as the team worked towards the final slab for the roof, bringing the project one step closer to completion.
The hydraulic jump form was safely removed, with careful planning allowing the team to work within minimal laydown space on site.
Our team had been delivering the complete formwork package, including the supply and installation of the hydraulic jump form, in-situ columns and feature columns using Consystex Formatube, suspended slabs, Quick Stairs, and off-form fluted walls.
With the Structure now approaching the final stages, the landmark residential tower is taking its final steps towards completion!

Project Throwback: National Storage Springfield

Back in 2024, after a series of residential projects across Northern NSW and the Gold Coast, this project marked our entry into commercial construction, securing our first contract with a major builder and a significant milestone in our growth.

The project comprised a 4-level drive-through self-storage facility for in Augustine Heights, Springfield, delivered in partnership with ADCO Constructions. The scope included over 10,000sqm of formwork. The completed site also incorporates National Storage’s mini warehouses and the Sparkletown Car & Dog Wash.

Our scope covered the supply and installation of formwork to the suspended slabs, utilising our HV panel system alongside Quick Stairs. The panel system reduced on-site equipment and improved installation speed, resulting in the slab being completed in half our programme’s duration

This project helped established a strong working relationship with , leading to three further projects together, with the partnership continuing today.

Progress Update: MIRA Gold Coast

Momentum continues as we’re forming Level 24 on the 27-storey luxury beachfront development. The hydraulic jump form is scheduled to be dismantled in just three weeks as the structure approaches topping out.

Our team has been delivering the complete formwork package, including the supply and installation of the hydraulic jump form, in-situ columns and feature columns using Formatube, suspended slabs, Quick Stairs, and off-form fluted walls, helping bring this landmark residential tower to life.

Great work by everyone on site as we continue pushing towards structural completion!

Project Throwback: Kokomo, Carrara

Completed back in May 2024, Cappah Group was engaged to deliver the design, supply and installation of the formwork package for the Kokomo development in Carrara, QLD.

Comprising two luxury waterfront residential buildings constructed simultaneously, the project required extensive planning, coordination and engineering expertise to maintain programme efficiency across both structures.

Utilising our in-house engineering team, we delivered the formwork solution for the low undercroft slab and the suspended slabs, using our proprietary panel system. This approach enabled faster floor cycle times and improved overall programme efficiency throughout the build.

At the time, this was one of our largest projects, and we are proud to have delivered it on programme and to specification entirely with our in-house team. It stands as a strong demonstration of our capability in delivering large-scale, engineered formwork solutions.

Progress Update: Fairway Carindale (Stage 2)

We are closing in on the completion of Stage 2 of the three buildings at the Pacific Golf Club redevelopment in Carindale, delivered in partnership with

Cappah Group was engaged to complete the structural formwork package, including formwork to suspended slabs, in-situ lift and stair cores, and in-situ columns across all three towers constructed concurrently. Our scope also included the supply and installation of FTI quick stairs to support safe and efficient access throughout the site.

All three buildings progressed simultaneously, with structural cores and slabs rising in tandem to maintain program efficiency. The final cores on Tower 5 were poured earlier this month, marking a key milestone as the structures reached top out.

Our team has now completed its structural scope and is currently demobilising from site as Stage 2 moves toward final completion.

We are proud to have contributed to the works on this milestone project alongside FDC and the broader project team, delivering 76 premium golf-front residences, forming a significant addition to the Fairway Carindale community.

TOPPED OUT: Rockpool Northshore Hamilton

We’re proud to have officially topped out at Rockpool Northshore Hamilton alongside (McNab)!

Located within Brisbane’s growing (Northshore Hamilton) precinct, the 6-storey aged care development will deliver over 150 beds alongside premium resident amenities and thoughtfully designed communal spaces, helping redefine modern aged care living in Queensland.

Our scope includes:
• Supply and installation of formwork to suspended slabs • Supply and installation of quick stairs • Insitu columns • 2x stair cores • 2x insitu lift cores

Using (PERI) MAXIMO panel system for the vertical elements has helped the team streamline the structure programme and bring valuable days off the construction schedule.

The Rockpool Residential Aged Care team are currently on track for completion in September, ahead of welcoming the first residents in October 2026. It’s an exciting and highly anticipated project for the (Northshore Hamilton) community, and we’re proud to be playing a part in helping bring it to life on programme.

PROJECT WIN: St Peters Lutheran College Sports Hall

We are proud to announce Cappah Group’s appointment to the new Sports Hall at St Peters Lutheran College alongside Integral Construction.

St Peters Lutheran College is Queensland’s largest Lutheran school, with a long-standing reputation for excellence in academic, athletic and co-curricular programs.

The Sports Hall forms part of the College’s broader Masterplan, which sets out an ambitious vision for upgraded sporting and learning facilities across the Indooroopilly campus. This project is a direct expression of that commitment.

Cappah Group will be delivering the projects Formwork Package, including suspended slabs, vertical elements and associated concrete works.
