Incredibly proud to announce that the New Bridgewater Bridge has won the Australian Construction Achievement Award by Australian Constructors Association (ACA) - and our team played a vital role!

As a proud partner supplying personnel to Tasmania's largest transport infrastructure project, we contributed to:

✅ Zero pile defects across 46+ foundations
✅ 2,000+ jobs created with 77% Tasmanian employment
✅ On schedule and on budget delivery

Working alongside McConnell Dowell and the Department of State Growth (Tas) and 380+ local suppliers, we helped deliver this 1.28 km bridge across the River Derwent connecting communities and building Tasmania's future.

Milestone Reached: Four Stations Upgraded and Reopened

We’re proud to announce the completion of our involvement in Rail’s Station Accessibility Upgrade Program.

ROBAR Personnel contributed more than 66,000 hours across four key station upgrades at Lindum, Morningside, Buranda, and Banyo since January 2024. These upgrades are part of a broader initiative to ensure public transport is more accessible and inclusive for all Queenslanders.

Now reopened to the public, each station features improved access and facilities designed to meet the needs of all commuters, including those with accessibility requirements.

We’re excited to share these photos of the stations. It’s a great achievement for our team and a reflection of the strong collaboration between ROBAR, principal contractors O’Rourke and Queensland Rail.

ROBAR Personnel is proud to have supported one of Central Queensland’s biggest infrastructure projects as it hits a major milestone.

Over 3,000m³ of concrete was poured to form the base of two major water storage reservoirs - a massive effort that took more than 100 truckloads and two batching plants working across two 12-hour days.

Each reservoir will span 76m wide, 12m high, and together hold 100 megalitres, the equivalent of 20 Olympic-sized pools.

This project will serve the region for decades to come and we’re proud to have our team involved.
