Project Win // Howard Smith Wharves Pontoon, Brisbane City.

A new pontoon on the Brisbane River at Howard Smith Wharves, beneath the Story Bridge, for Artemus Group with Little Boat Projects as architect. Enginova delivered the mechanical design documentation for the design and construct tender. The mechanical systems are kept out of sight to protect the views to the river and the bridge, and the kitchen extraction uses electrostatic precipitators and ozone treatment to remove contaminants from the exhaust air.

In design. Completion anticipated 2028.

Project Win //Ballers Clubhouse, Fortitude Valley.

Ballers Clubhouse is converting the former King of Kings restaurant at the gateway to Brisbane's Chinatown into a 600-guest games and hospitality venue, with fit-out by Lowry Group. Engaged by FT Group, Enginova delivered mechanical design under design and construct, plus LOD400 shop drawings. The retrofit adds a new rooftop package unit and ductwork to an existing building, with CO2-based outdoor air control so ventilation follows occupancy and saves energy.

Under construction. Opening expected early 2027.

Problem with your air conditioning system? ❄️ Let Enginova have a look at it!

When your HVAC system isn't performing as expected—whether it's cooling/heating inconsistencies, insufficient airflow, or lingering stale air—it's easy to assume a quick fix will do the job. However, diagnosing the real issue without a proper site inspection can lead to misdiagnosed problems, costly repairs, prolonged discomfort and increased energy bills.

Why Are Site Inspections Crucial?

🔹 Identify the Root Cause – A system behaving erratically could be due to anything from clogged filters to duct leaks or even an undersized unit. A professional site inspection ensures we’re addressing the real issue, not just the symptoms.

🔹 Optimise System Performance – Poor airflow and inconsistent temperatures could be the result of incorrect settings, blockages, or ageing components. On-site assessments allow us to fine-tune your system for peak efficiency.

🔹 Prevent Costly Repairs – Catching minor issues early, such as deteriorating insulation or refrigerant leaks, can prevent them from turning into major, expensive problems down the track.

🔹 Ensure Air Quality & Comfort – Stale or stuffy air could indicate ventilation issues, excess humidity, or contamination within the system. An inspection helps pinpoint the cause so we can improve indoor air quality.

At Enginova, we take a hands-on approach to HVAC troubleshooting. A site visit allows us to assess environmental factors, system load, and airflow dynamics—ensuring our recommendations are tailored to your specific setup.

Don’t let HVAC problems linger! If your system isn't performing as it should, let us help you restore comfort and efficiency. Get in touch today.

Another exciting project in the works! 🚀

As part of Enginova, we’re lucky to visit some incredible places, and our recent site visit with Stephen Brown at SPB Solutions was no exception. This time, we were on-site at the Brisbane Domestic Terminal, scoping out a new project that’s shaping up to be a great challenge for our Mechanical engineering team.

Airports are complex environments, and ensuring seamless operations while integrating new systems is no small feat. From complex air handling systems to critical infrastructure upgrades, this project will push our expertise to new heights. We’re excited to be part of the journey, working alongside industry leaders to deliver innovative, efficient, and high-performance solutions.

Stay tuned for more updates as we bring this project to life! ✈️
