A closer look at the lighting throughout Melbourne’s mew Metro Tunnel stations.

Working alongside the wider project team, FOS Lighting supplied luminaires by formalighting across key circulation areas, supporting clear wayfinding, visual comfort, and the station architecture.

Powerhouse Parramatta stands as one of FOS Lighting’s most intricate and impressive custom projects to date, featuring nearly one kilometre of lighting integrated around the building’s exoskeleton.

FOS Lighting helped design and develop a bespoke shroud system that could be suspended from the structure, enabling the lighting to bring the building’s façade to life while minimising impact on surrounding properties and preserving internal aesthetics and views.

The image shown captures the project in progress, with final completion and full commissioning of the lighting scheduled for later this year.

A complex and highly resolved outcome, delivered through close collaboration with all parties involved.

Melbourne Metro Stations

A closer look at the Galileo luminaire by , used throughout Melbourne’s new Metro Tunnel stations.

Mounted on articulated arms, the fittings provide precise, directional illumination across platforms, escalators and circulation areas, supporting clear wayfinding and visual comfort within the station architecture.

Walkinshaw HQ | Custom Circuit Pendants

A closer look at one of five custom race track pendants installed throughout the new Walkinshaw HQ.

• Mount Panorama Circuit, Bathurst • WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca • Circuit de Monaco • Fuji International Speedway • Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps

Designed for full customisation and manufactured entirely in Australia, each track was CNC cut in the FOS Sydney facility, wet sprayed in custom flat black, and completed in Brisbane with suspension, joiners and LED installation.

All fittings are indirectly illuminated, delivering a soft ceiling wash while keeping the track form clearly defined.

The new Liiu Floor brings ’s sculptural modularity to ground level.

Balancing functionality with lightness, the system uses electrified metal cables held in tension by counterweights. Each luminous head is supported by two slim arms with spiral ends, allowing effortless positioning and stability.

The floor configuration supports up to 10 individual lamps, arranged on either side for flexible compositions - a perfect harmony between precision and poetry.
