THE SUPER SPIRAL!

Sometimes it's not just about function. Sometimes you want something that looks every bit as good as it performs.

Well, this is one of those times!

Introducing our Super Spiral Fluting.

A single, shallow 360° revolution of each flute along the length of the bolt, creating a tight, flowing spiral pattern that really stands out.

By keeping the flutes close together, we've created a design that not only looks fantastic but also reduces the contact area between the bolt body and the action, giving it a beautifully smooth feel when cycling.

So naturally, we thought...

Why stop at the bolt? Why not give the barrel the same treatment?

And this is the result!

A custom Super Spiral Fluted Tikka T3, with matching bolt and barrel fluting that makes this r***e something a little different from the ordinary.

Sometimes it's the little details that make a build stand out, and we're pretty happy with how this one turned out!

Our customer managed to pick up a Tikka T3 for a good price and decided it was the perfect starting point for a custom build.

We chambered it in **.338 Win Mag** and fitted a 20" squid-fluted barrel, complete with an invisible muzzle thread cap and 5-slot muzzle brake.

The r***e was then fitted out with a black MDT ORYX chassis with custom-dipped panels, Vortex scope mounts and a Hawke Vantage HD 30 6–24x50 SF scope.

We also spiral fluted the bolt to tie everything together.

Then came the customer's request for a bit of extra flair...

**"Can we make the flutes pink?"**

Absolutely. 😂

The pink barrel and bolt flutes really set this one off against the black chassis and turned what started life as a good-value Tikka T3 into something completely her own.

Definitely one of the more unique builds we've had through the workshop, and we're pretty happy with how this one came together.

We have a number of fluted bolts completed and heading out on Monday!

This one was microslick cerakoted and then spiral fluted for a contrasting look.

Fluting is always a hit and can be done in a range of creative ways to add flare!
