EBSA - Australia

The new Santa Maria College Cultural Centre demonstrates how thoughtfully integrated building systems can support both architectural vision and building performance.

Featured by Australian Design Review, the project by Architectus brings together contemporary architecture, flexible performance spaces and integrated building systems to create a state-of-the-art facility for music, drama and dance.

EBSA was proud to supply the Schneider MP2 glazed louvre system and associated control package for this project, including installation, programming and commissioning. Integrated with the building management system via a high-level Modbus RTU gateway, the system provides automated control across each zoned area while supporting natural ventilation, daylight and façade performance.

Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering this impressive new cultural facility.

At EBSA, we remain committed to delivering high-quality, innovative window and automation solutions that enhance natural light and airflow in commercial, residential, and educational buildings, promoting health, performance, and sustainability.

Congratulations to Lendlease and the wider project team on the Glasshouse Theatre at Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) being recognised as Project of the Year at the 2026 Master Builders Queensland Housing & Construction Awards, as well as receiving the Tourism & Leisure Facilities over $10 million award.

The recognition reflects the technical complexity and collaboration required to deliver this landmark addition to Brisbane's cultural precinct. Designed by Blight Rayner Architecture in partnership with Snøhetta, the Glasshouse Theatre features a distinctive rippled glass façade that has become a defining element of the building.

EBSA was proud to contribute to this award-winning project through the design and manufacture of three bespoke MP2 V50 frameless glass louvre systems, each measuring 7,440mm high. Delivered in collaboration with Seele, the louvres were integrated into the complex curved and flat glazed façade, supporting the architectural vision while meeting demanding performance requirements.

Congratulations to everyone involved in delivering this outstanding project and on this well-deserved recognition.

At EBSA, we remain committed to delivering innovative and unparalleled solutions that elevate the possibilities of architectural design.

Congratulations to Riverlee and the entire project team on Seafarers, 1 Hotel & Homes Melbourne being named Development of the Year - Urban Regeneration at the 2026 Urban Developer Awards.

This landmark development has transformed one of Melbourne's last undeveloped riverfront sites into a vibrant mixed-use precinct, reconnecting the city with the Yarra River while celebrating the site's rich maritime heritage. Combining adaptive reuse, sustainability and contemporary design, the project sets a benchmark for urban regeneration.

EBSA is proud to have contributed to this award-winning development with our custom-developed MP2 Opposed Opening Louvre system (MP2-FL-OP), engineered specifically for the project through a two-year collaboration process. Designed to maintain unobstructed views while delivering high-performance natural ventilation and exceptional weather protection, the system was integrated across both the hotel and residential components of the precinct.

The MP2-FL-OP was developed to support the architectural vision while achieving outstanding environmental performance through innovative dual-blade operation, low air infiltration and high water resistance.

Congratulations to Riverlee, Fender Katsalidis and all project partners on this well-deserved recognition.

Congratulations to BVN Architecture on the Oakhill College Hilltop Precinct - Commons and Innovation Hub receiving the Educational Architecture Award at the Australian Institute of Architects NSW Chapter Awards.

The project has created a new centre for the campus, bringing together flexible learning environments, STEM facilities, social spaces and administration while demonstrating the potential of hybrid timber construction and sustainable design.

EBSA is proud to have contributed to this award-winning project by supplying Schneider BT90 thermally broken double-glazed louvres, along with the CPS-M control panel, to deliver a natural ventilation solution that supports occupant comfort and energy performance.

Developed to meet the increased thermal performance requirements of the National Construction Code, the BT90 louvre system combines high thermal efficiency with excellent weather performance, making it well suited to contemporary educational buildings.

Congratulations to BVN architecture, Oakhill College and the entire project team on this well-deserved recognition.

EBSA - Australia

Atlassian Central has reached another significant milestone, with the world's tallest hybrid timber commercial building officially topping out at 39 storeys and more than 180 metres above Sydney.
Featured on Channel Nine News, the project continues to attract global attention for demonstrating what is possible when innovation, sustainability and collaboration come together on a large commercial development.

Developed by Dexus for co-owner Atlassian and delivered by Built in joint venture with Obayashi Corporation, the tower has been designed by SHoP Architects in collaboration with BVN. As the centrepiece of Sydney's Tech Central precinct, the project combines hybrid mass timber construction with an advanced operable façade strategy, targeting a 50% reduction in embodied carbon compared with a conventional commercial tower while operating entirely on renewable energy.

EBSA has been involved since the early contractor engagement phase, working alongside the project team to deliver the façade automation package that supports the building's natural ventilation and smoke relief strategies. Our scope includes:

• 4,757 CDC window actuators
• 18 CPS-M control panels
• 56 distribution boxes
• Approximately 42 kilometres of cabling

This represents the largest window automation package undertaken in Australia, to date, and reflects the importance of integrating automation early in the design process to support the building's ambitious environmental and operational performance targets.

Congratulations to Atlassian, Dexus, Built, Obayashi Corporation, SHoP Architects, BVN and everyone involved in reaching this outstanding milestone. We look forward to seeing the project completed in 2026.

Natural Ventilation Meets Automation at 11 Mounts Bay Road, Perth

EBSA was brought onto the redevelopment of this A-grade commercial tower to deliver systems that let the building breathe, and respond intelligently when conditions change.

Scope of works:

· 3x LAMILUX PR60 operable glass roof systems
· 24x Schneider LF550 operable louvres (75.69m² total)

Every system runs through our D+H Mechatronic CPS-M control panel, built to:

· Trigger automatically on power failure, wind, rain, or security events
· Hold a 72-hour failsafe battery backup
· Integrate directly with the BMS (Modbus RTU) and fire control systems

Sitting above the Elizabeth Quay Busport and a short walk from the Swan River, the redevelopment also brings a refurbished lobby, upgraded end-of-trip facilities, and a more flexible ground floor.

EBSA - Australia

It is great to see Northern Beaches Christian School featured on Australia By Design Innovation, highlighting the thinking behind a campus designed to support new ways of learning.

Completed across three stages, the project reflects a long-term commitment to creating learning environments that combine sustainability, technology and occupant wellbeing. WMK's design brings together indoor and outdoor learning spaces beneath a 3,000m² canopy that harvests rainwater, generates electricity and works with automated natural ventilation to improve comfort throughout the campus.

EBSA was proud to deliver the façade automation and natural ventilation systems across all three stages of the development. Our scope included the supply and commissioning of:

• 51 MP2 framed double-glazed louvres
• 266 Breezeway Power Louvres
• 258 CDC-0252-350-ACB window actuators
• 176 VCD drives
• CPS-M control panels with Modbus integration
• Touch screen controllers, weather stations, remote maintenance gateways and sensors integrated with the building's mechanical systems.

From the Administration Building through to Echunga, Senior Learning, The Hive and the Barcelona/STEM facilities, the result is a coordinated building automation solution that supports natural ventilation and efficient building operation across the campus.
