Inertia LandAI was a hole sponsor at both the UDIA Qld Brisbane/Ipswich Golf Day and the UDIA Queensland Toowoomba Golf Day 2026.

We enjoyed brilliant days on the courses alongside our guests from Ingenia Communities and Boldstone, with plenty of great conversations and friendly competition along the way.

A big thank you to Ella Andersen, Josh Burkin, and Vyt Milvydas for joining us!

For the second year running, Team Inertia proudly took part in the Property Industry Foundation's Pedal for Homeless Youth fundraiser.

A huge congratulations to Gregg Hoesman for taking out Top Place Male Cyclist in the group, and to Brittany Collins for being Inertia's Top Fundraiser. Outstanding effort by both!

Together, we have exceeded our fundraising goal, but there's still time to make an even bigger impact. Every donation helps provide safe and secure housing for young people experiencing homelessness: https://give.pif.com.au/fundraisers/inertiaengineering/pedalqld

On 30 July, Team Inertia is pedaling for homeless youth for our second year!

As a proud Silver Donor of the Property Industry Foundation, we’re joining the Pedal for Homeless Youth to help give vulnerable young people a safe place to call home. Last year, over 46,000 young people in Australia asked for help. PIF is tackling this through the Haven Project, building homes and changing lives.

Please help us reach our goal: https://give.pif.com.au/fundraisers/inertiaengineering/pedalqld

We are proud to be a sponsor of Urbanity 26. We are especially excited to see two of our leaders contributing to the program:

- Emma Clements will be speaking as part of HER-banity, a dedicated initiative celebrating and connecting women across the property and construction industry.

- Scott Clements will present an interactive workshop on Inertia LandAI (powered by Civix and Allsite.ai), showcasing how AI is transforming land development by enabling faster and smarter engineering outcomes.

We are looking forward to connecting with industry peers, sharing ideas and being part of the conversations driving our industry forward.

The future of land lease communities was the focus of an insightful discussion at the Property Council's 'Land Lease Communities: Australia’s Next Housing Opportunity', proudly sponsored by Inertia Engineering.

Bringing together leaders from across the industry, Von Slater (Serenitas), Adrian Puljich (GemLife), Anthony Demiris (AVID Property Group) and Jo Scotney (ANZ), the event explored the growing role land lease communities can play in addressing Australia's housing affordability challenges while delivering high-quality lifestyle outcomes for an ageing population.

The keynote and panel discussion highlighted several opportunities shaping the sector's future, including:

• Innovation through technology, AI and automation to improve delivery and efficiency.
• Faster project delivery and collaboration across industry and government.
• The continued evolution of land lease communities into vibrant, lifestyle-focused neighbourhoods that help residents rightsize, unlock equity and remain connected.

A special thank you to the outstanding speakers for sharing their perspectives, and to the Property Council of Australia for bringing together such an important conversation for the industry.

We sat down with Ryan Llewelyn, Project Director on Frasers Property - Live proud's The Quarry at Keperra, to discuss what makes working on this development so rewarding. For him, it’s the collaboration and shared commitment across the project team that makes The Quarry such a rewarding project to be part of. From challenging stormwater management and steep road grades to responding to evolving design requirements, the team has continually worked together to find innovative solutions.

On Tuesday, we celebrated International Women in Engineering Day with a day of reflection and thought-provoking discussion.

We kicked things off with a morning tea where Inertians shared their experiences by answering questions such as, “What’s one word that describes your career?” We also invited everyone to leave a message of appreciation for a woman in the industry who inspires them, creating a collection of thoughful messages from across the business.

In the evening, a group of us attended Engineers Australia's Debate Night, where the topic posed a compelling question: "Will the future of engineering leadership favour collaborative intelligence or technical dominance?" Both sides presented strong arguments, sparking plenty of discussion among us. Opinions were changed by the end of the night!

A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a meaningful celebration of the women shaping the future of engineering.
