d a business for himself, his wife Janice and his young family. Operating out of small workshop under the family home, Neville grew N&J Gaskets working by himself. One 15 ton press, one jigsaw, one guillotine, a bending machine and a workbench with all the tools required to run and expand N&J Gaskets. By the mid 1980's N&J had grown to a point where by there was a need for larger premises. 1985 saw N&J Gaskets relocate to their new address Unit2, 2 Deakin Street Brendale QLD 4500. One of the first industrial sheds to be built in the area - the neighbours being local farms and cows! Over the years, N&J Gaskets has doubled and tripled in size, as has the entire Brendale Industrial Estate. Neville worked hard to grow the business, taking on large companies such as Queensland Railways and many Australian mines (to name a few). In 1994 Neville's son Reece joined the team and started on the factory floor. He worked his way up to the Director of the company where he now runs N&J Gaskets. In 2011 Neville retired and handed the business over to his children. However, he is still actively involved and is called in from time to time to advise on different situations as they arise.
