LUMARA

A name that honours the feeling we’re creating and the place it belongs.

Lum + Ara = Lumara.✨

Lum from Lumen, meaning light. Natural light has guided so many of our decisions, from the layout and orientation to the feeling each space creates. We wanted every room to feel soft and bright, calm and inviting.

Ara comes from Araluen, the street in Kedron where this home is being built. Araluen means “place of water lilies” in Dharug.

At Embrace Construction, we believe the homes people embrace are the ones that leave them feeling a deeper emotional connection to the story of space and place.

There’s a point in every build where it starts to feel different.

The floorboards are down, the walls are plastered, and many of the finishing details are finding their place. What was once a collection of rooms is beginning to feel like a home.

You can start to imagine the rituals that will happen here. Morning coffees, busy weekdays, family dinners, celebrations, and the quiet moments in between. 🏠🔨
