Smart Energy Choices is an approved QLD battery installer. The Qld Government battery rebate has officially kicked off.

Opened on the 12th Feb, there are battery rebates available for QLD home owners.

What you need to know :
🔋 A rebate of $3,000 is available for households with a combined annual income of less than $180,000. Please note, this is a combined income for those living in the house and for the most recent financial year.

🔋 A rebate of 4,000 available for households where the highest income earner earned $66,667 or less for the most recently ended financial year.
In order to be eligible for the QLD solar battery rebate you will also need to install a battery that is at least 6kWhs in size, have solar (or install solar at the same time) that is at least 5kWs in size and have an approved battery installed by and approved installer.

The process you need to know :
🔋 Firstly, you need to get a quote from an approved installer. Then, you will need to submit the quotation from an approved installer along with other supporting documents to get approved. 🔋 Once approved you will have 90 days to get the battery installed. You will need to pay the installer in full and then you will be able to claim your rebate back.

The Battery Booster program provides rebates to eligible Queensland households to help install a home battery system.

Stage 1 completed at Currumbin. The last month the team installed 99.98 kw solar panel system on a nursing home. We used LG panels paired with solar edge inverter and optimisers. Stage 2 is a further 150kw to be completed in a few months. Well done to the guys for completing stage 1, great job 👏

We Celebrated Greg’s birthday this weekend with our beautiful supportive family and finishing it with a lovely dinner. Greg works incredibly hard for the business and he deserved a well earned celebration. Happy birthday Greggie !!

Stage 1 of 256kw of solar: First stage 99kw Progress shots being installed at Currumbin retirement village.

Replacement system at Hamilton. We removed a 6.66kw solar system which had storm damage and replaced it with a 10.73kw system. The team installed Longi panels with a Fronius 8.2kw inverter. A smart meter was installed so the owner can keep track of the solar production and their household usage.
