Blandthorn Constructions are seeking a motivated and skilled carpenter to join our growing team. If you’re someone who is reliable, has a good work ethic, and takes pride in their work; we want to hear from you.

Based in the Mitchell Shire with travel across Melbourne and country Victoria, we specialise in custom builds, renovations, and extensions with work including all aspects of framing, lock up, fix and fit off.

What you need:
• Certificate III in Carpentry with minimum 3 years’ experience in residential carpentry including framing, lock up, fix and fit off.
• Construction induction training (white card)
• Victorian Driver’s license and reliable transport
• Ability to obtain Working With Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check
• Own hand and power tools

Desired skills:
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting building plans and specifications
• Awareness of, and ability to comply with OH&S

What we offer:
• Competitive rates based on experience with weekly pay

Bathroom completed this week in Kilmore. Tiled shower base on concrete slab. Required recessing the slab and moving the waste to reposition toilet and vanity. New window, square set ceiling, tiled niche, in wall cistern, black fixtures and fittings, timber vanity unit with stone tops, round mirror cabinet and some classy glass power points and switches with dowlights. Another top job completed by our quality tradesmen.
