The Gen Off Grid team would like to wish you a Happy and Safe End-of-Year Season!
As we wrap up a big 2025, we’re proud to have delivered reliable solar and BESS solutions across Australia’s most remote and energy-intensive regions. This year alone, our systems generated thousands of megawatt-hours of clean energy, helping clients reduce diesel reliance and cut carbon emissions.
A huge thank-you to our team, partners, and customers for your trust and collaboration throughout the year. We look forward to bringing even more resilient off-grid energy solutions to life in 2026.

Holiday Closure: GenOffGrid will be closed from Saturday, 20 December 2025 to Sunday, 4 January 2026. Our Maintenance Team will remain on call for emergency support throughout this period.

We’re pleased to share recent coverage in PV Magazine Australia highlighting GenOffGrid’s latest hybrid microgrid project in Australia’s Top End.

The installation integrates solar PV, lithium battery storage, and diesel generation to deliver a reliable, efficient, and sustainable power solution for one of the region’s most remote roadhouses.

This project demonstrates GenOffGrid’s commitment to advancing energy resilience and decarbonisation in off-grid and remote communities across Australia.

Powering Remote Australian Communities, Off the Grid

We're proud to share that Gen Off Grid has secured two contracts to deliver clean, reliable, off-grid energy to the remote Aboriginal community stores of Bayulu and Wangkatjungka in the Kimberley.

These new solar microgrid systems, supported by the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA), will:

Improve energy reliability
Strengthen food security
Reduce diesel use and emissions
Support community independence

“This is about more than energy – it’s about community strength and resilience.” – John Davidson, CEO, GenOffGrid

“The Bayulu and Wangkatjungka projects, supported by the NIAA, will provide vital energy security for the community while reducing environmental impact and operational costs. Our work at Bayulu, Wangkatjungka and across Northern Australia shows how renewable microgrids can unlock opportunities for remote communities. Through partnerships with organisations like NIAA, we’re making lasting improvements in food security and community wellbeing while advancing our commitment to Closing the Gap.”

These projects are part of the $9.6M Store Efficiency and Resilience Package, delivering real, on-the-ground outcomes for First Nations communities.

We’re honoured to play our part in building a smarter, more sustainable future in regional WA.
