Winter Solstice: The Cocoon of Becoming
Dearest Stars,
The dark, beautiful abyss of our being is present.
Welcome, Winter Solstice.
The caterpillar is in transformation, yet perhaps for centuries we have witnessed this miracle without truly seeing it. We have watched the cocooning cycle unfold in nature, never considering that it mirrors our own sacred journey through human incarnation.
Today I wish to show you that the cocoon is not a place of waiting. It is a place of creation.
The caterpillar carries within itself a divine blueprint, an ancient intelligence devoted to self-discovery, self-nurturance and metamorphosis. Invisible rainbow lights stream through the nervous system, purifying the blood, redesigning identity, preparing the way for what is yet to emerge. It is the moment before the butterfly. It is our Mother’s womb. It is the gentle current of consciousness moving us inward.
This, dear Star, is the invitation of presence.
We are travelling into the roots of our lineage, where our Ancestors await integration. Here the caterpillar rests within its delicate gestation cycle, vulnerable and protected all at once. Winter wraps itself around the cocoon like a sacred cloak, resilient amidst wild winds and long nights, sheltering the transformation that is taking place within.
We may feel it as pain.
As aching.
As old screams rising from forgotten places.
What once seemed like an endless sea of suffering reveals itself to be only a stagnant river longing to flow once more. What has been trapped within us is seeking release. What has been frozen is yearning to move.
And so we surrender.
Into the cold.
Into the silence.
Into the mystery of what is becoming.
For the butterfly is already dreaming itself into existence.
Winter offers us this season of gestation so that we may recreate ourselves through profound self-love. As we accept the discomfort of metamorphosis, we begin to understand that healing is not about fixing ourselves. It is not about pushing away what was.
The illusion of separation dissolves.
Within the cocoon we discover that our shadows, our Ancestors and our Root Children were never mistakes. Their cries, their grief, their anger and their fear were expressions of life seeking wholeness. They were held within us, like a child floating in the waters of the Mother’s womb, waiting to be recognised, loved and returned to the heart.
Today the Golden Child calls to us.
Do not cling any longer to the splendour of chaos that has already completed its purpose.
Let it go.
Allow Divine Perfection to transform you in this season of Winter.
We are descending into the crystallised abyss of our own being, discovering treasures hidden beneath layers of forgetting. And as we journey there, I ask you, dear Butterfly, to honour this transformation. To awaken from the complacency of comfort that can no longer sustain the soul you are becoming.
It is time.
Transformation is a natural, motherly process that every living thing must pass through. The caterpillar never loses its essence. Its vibrant life force remains intact. Yet within the violet flame of becoming, its light is rebalanced so that greater brilliance may emerge.
It is not our nature to remain hidden.
It is not our destiny to remain cocooned within ancestral stories of limitation, nor to sleep in the spiritual narcolepsy of forgetting.
We are here.
You were never alone.
You were always meant to remember who you truly are.
Winter is temporary.
The caterpillar understands this.
It rests in the twilight, trusting the dawn.
So are you ready today?
Ready or not, dear Star, your wings are already unfurling.
They are pressing gently against the walls of the container.
They are responding to the dark rainbow light of transformation.
You were never born to remain inside the cocoon.
You were born to fly.
With All My Love,
Rosa & Shekinah3 Stars
