Introducing MALLAWA.

We're excited to unveil the design for our latest custom home project, currently progressing from concept to reality in beachside Buddina.

Designed by DCM Building Design, Mallawa showcases a refined coastal aesthetic, combining natural stone, timber screening, expansive glazing and clean architectural lines. The result is a home that balances striking street appeal with thoughtful, functional living.

While construction is yet to commence, we're looking forward to bringing this exceptional design to life.

Mallawa will be offered for sale by NEXT Property Group, with all enquiries directed to Courtney Patterson.

Site update - Currawong Project

A wet weather visit Currawong Project last week to check on the progress and review neighbour privacy now that the frame is up.

One of the benefits of a knockdown rebuild or building in an established area is that we know exactly what’s around us. We can see where neighbouring alfresco areas, living rooms and windows are located, which allows us to consider privacy from the very beginning of the design process.

While these details are addressed during planning, it’s always worth reviewing them again on site once the home starts taking shape. Seeing everything at full scale can sometimes highlight small improvements.

In this case, we made the decision to shift a block wall one meter to the left to provide a little more privacy between the outdoor spaces. A small adjustment now that will make a big difference once the home is complete.

It’s these little details that help ensure the finished home feels right, not just on paper, but everyday living.

It’s a big yes from us to the beige kitchen trend.

We’ve always loved a classic white kitchen. It’s simple, timeless and works with almost every style of home. But sometimes, all white can feel a little cold or flat.

We’re seeing more homeowners lean towards warmer off-white tones, soft beige cabinetry and natural timber finishes, and honestly, we can see why. These colours still feel classic and understated, but they bring a softness and warmth that makes a kitchen feel more lived in and inviting.

The best part is these tones aren’t overly trend-driven. When paired with quality materials and thoughtful design, they still have that timeless feel we all want in the heart of the home.

Meet Cody and Gareth.

The unstoppable force behind every J Co build. Gareth, a self-confessed mathematical and spreadsheet whiz, handles all things pre-construction. Fine-tuning the finer details and securing the best possible price for your home, he makes sure everything is wrapped up neatly before handing it over to Cody.

If you’ve built with J Co over the past five years, chances are you’ve met Cody. The driving force behind construction, he keeps the trades running smoothly while making sure you feel informed, supported and looked after throughout the entire build journey. From the first day on site to handover day, Cody is the one making sure everything comes together exactly as it should.

Slab pour day at our Currawong Project.

Located in Perigian Beach, this home sits tucked into the dunes just a short walk from the coastline. It is a completely custom design by bought to life by our team at J Co Constructions.

This one is a testament to Ava, one of our in-house design consultants, who was given full creative freedom across the interior design.

We are really looking forwards to seeing this project continuing hue to take shape.
