Welcome to the Not Shed.
When a past client moved to a new property, she called us again. She had built a shed and wanted it to become a home, while still feeling like a shed.
She had sourced fine sawn Victorian Ash, so we used it to line the interior and hide the steel posts. For the ceiling, we left the galvanised structure exposed to keep its character, then added plasterboard panels to bounce the light around and make a space for deep insulation.
The result is a warm, light-filled space that still keeps its shed character. It's the perfect backdrop for her collection: European wrought iron and timber chandeliers, handcrafted barn door ironmongery, a beautiful Evalok door, and a custom kitchen.
We loved working through every detail together to bring her vision to life.
