Metal Roofing Supervisor/Scheduler
Metal Roofing Superstars wanted!
Soko Construction & Roofing are a locally owned and operated Gold Coast business delivering re-roof and insurance solutions for both corporate and private customers throughout South East Queensland and Northern NSW.
We have a large forward workload and are currently looking for organised, enthusiastic and experienced metal roofing superstars to join our roofing section on a full time basis.
About the roles:
1. Office based Roofing Scheduler/Organiser (Burleigh Heads) :
Reporting directly to the General Manager and working in conjunction with the Roofing Supervisor , you will be responsible for the project management and coordination of multiple jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Scheduling works
• Project Management
• Coordination of trades
• Ordering of materials
• Liaising with suppliers to secure the best service and rates
• Ensuring health and safety obligations are met
About you:
You will have an enthusiastic, customer focused and process driven approach with the proven ability to provide results in the roofing industry. You will need to enjoy the challenge of a fast paced, multi-project environment.
Personal Attributes:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in metal roofing, fascia & gutter
• High level attention to detail
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Advanced computer literacy
• Ability to forward plan work and prioritise tasks
Qualifications required:
• Experience in Commercial & Industrial Metal Roofing
2. Metal Roofing Supervisor :
Reporting directly to the General Manager and working in conjunction with the Roofing Scheduler/Organiser , you will be responsible for all site based activities and coordination of multiple jobs. (Some office time required).
Key Responsibilities:
• Site supervision
• Site measures and take offs
• Roof reports
• Coordination of trades
• Site health and safety- Toolbox talks and completion of risk assessments and SWMS.
• Provide technical advice and support
• Pre and post roof inspections
• Quality control
• Problem solving to ensure customer satisfaction
About you:
You will have an enthusiastic, customer focused and process driven approach with the proven ability to provide results in the roofing industry. You will need to enjoy the challenge of a fast paced, multi-project environment.
Personal Attributes:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in metal roofing, fascia & gutter
• High level attention to detail
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Intermediate computer literacy
• Ability to forward plan work and prioritise tasks
• Available to travel periodically when required
Qualifications required:
• Experience in Commercial & Industrial Metal Roofing(Trade qualifications preferred)
• Construction Induction White Card
• Working at Heights accreditation
• EWP Operators License (preferred)
