Liberty Rural - Geographe Petroleum

Meet Dusty, our friendly driveway attendant at Liberty Geographe!

For more than five years, Dusty has been filling customers’ cars, washing windscreens, pumping up tyres and topping up oil—all with a friendly smile and a good yarn.

His favourite part of the job? Having a joke with customers and meeting different people every day.

Away from the driveway, Dusty enjoys watching most sports, but AFL is his favourite. He’s a West Coast Eagles supporter, with the Fremantle Dockers as his backup when the Eagles aren’t playing—or winning! Melbourne teams? They won’t be getting his support.

His favourite meal is roast lamb, and he enjoys a Bundy rum with his mates.

Next time you’re at Liberty Geographe, say g’day to Dusty!

Meet Lisa!

If you’ve visited our depot in the morning, there’s a good chance you’ve been greeted by Lisa’s friendly face!

Lisa joined the team in May last year as a part-time Console Operator and loves getting to know the many different customers who walk through the door.

For Lisa, no two days are quite the same — and that’s exactly what she enjoys about the role.

Outside of Liberty Rural, Lisa is also a Marriage Celebrant, which keeps her especially busy throughout the spring and summer wedding season.

When she’s not working or celebrating newlyweds, Lisa loves spending time with her husband, two children and dogs — often chauffeuring everyone around in her trusty 2003 Ford Fairmont!

A keen cook, Lisa’s favourite dish to make is butter chicken, and when it’s time to unwind, you’ll likely find her enjoying a scotch and Coke.

Pop in and say hello to Lisa Monday to Friday, 7:30am–12:00pm — she’ll be there ready to welcome you with a smile!

Meet the Team | Blake Heil

Say g'day to Blake Heil, one of our four fuel truck drivers and, by about 30 years, the youngest driver in the crew!

Blake joined Liberty in July last year and brings plenty of energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude wherever he goes. With five years of fuel transport experience under his belt, he's quickly become a valued part of the crew.

What Blake enjoys most about the job is getting to know the customers we deliver fuel to and building relationships along the way. He also loves travelling throughout the South West, taking in the incredible landscapes and unique locations our region has to offer.

When he's not behind the wheel, you'll likely find him playing hockey, golf or tennis, going for a swim, wetting a line, or catching a game of footy. A passionate AFL fan, Blake proudly supports the Essendon Bombers.

His perfect way to unwind? Sharing a laugh and a cold b**r with mates over a steak with mushroom sauce, chips and salad.
And for those wondering... sorry ladies, Blake is officially off the market after recently proposing to his long-time girlfriend!

Congratulations Blake, and thanks for being such a great part of the Liberty team!

Congratulations, Cara!

We’re thrilled to announce that Cara Pethybridge is the lucky winner of the $1,000 fuel prize donated by Geographe Petroleum as part of our annual sponsorship of the Busselton Magpies Football Club.

Cara has been a loyal Geographe Petroleum customer for many years, so it’s especially rewarding to see one of our long-standing customers take home the prize.

Thank you to the Busselton Magpies Football Club for another fantastic season, and thank you to all participants who supported the raffle!

Enjoy the fuel, Cara, and thank you for your continued support!

Meet Aud

If you’ve been to Liberty Rural Geographe, chances are you’ve already met Aud — or, more likely, heard her before you’ve seen her!

Aud has been part of the Liberty team for 3 years, and has proudly worked with Geographe Petroleum for 5 years. A Busselton local for the past 27 years, she knows plenty of familiar faces around town and loves nothing more than making our customers smile.

As one of our three fantastic driveway attendants, Aud brings plenty of energy, plenty of laughs and a whole lot of personality to the driveway.

Rain, hail or sunshine, Aud is always ready to help. Whether it’s pumping fuel, cleaning windscreens, inflating tyres or topping up oils, nothing is ever too much trouble.

When she’s not looking after our customers, you’ll find Aud enjoying her favourite things — cooking, camping, fishing and gardening. And when it comes to food, she’s a fan of anything savoury!

When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Aud simply says: “Helping our lovely customers and making them smile.”

So, if you haven’t stopped by Liberty Rural Geographe for a while, come in and say hi to Aud.

She’ll be there with her big smile, plenty of energy, and almost certainly a chat and a laugh!

Thanks for everything you do, Aud!
